Last weekend we went to Prospect Lake. We first went there to play at the park. Then Bentley saw some kids playing in the water and he wanted to too. We had his swimsuit in the trunk so he was ready to go! He said “We’re at the beach”! There were little waves and all. Then that evening we went to Aunt Holly’s for dinner. Fun fast weekend! Sometimes he’s a total ham for the cam!
Ben called in sick for the first time in 13 mo. So we went up to Manitou Springs. They have this huge retro outdoor arcade so it is definitely up my boys alley. We had fun and of course Ben wanted to play and Bentley wanted to ride. Bentley had a blast!
Had a great fourth! We went to America the Beautiful Park and Bentley cooled off in the fountain. Then on the fourth we went to a Sky Sox game. It went forever! We left at about 11:15 pm. The fireworks didn’t go off until about 12:30 am. Glad we went home but sad we missed the fireworks show. We had a TON of fun while we were there! Bentley kept on getting lot’s of autographs, Ben caught baseballs and they bought lots of souvenirs. Going to the baseball game is Ben’s favorite thing to do and Bentley’s. We’re so happy to live somewhere to enjoy it!
Ben and I decided we wanted to coach his very first sport T Ball. Haha real funny. Anyone ever coached 15 four and five year olds? It has been busy and time consuming but that’s what parenting is about right? We have enjoyed it and I have Parents/Grandparents compliment and thank us at every game about how great we are with the kids and how much patience we have. Funny thing we were like wow never again, but as of last night Ben and his buddy now want to coach soccer. Go for it Sweetie! Bentley has loved it and has improved in the last four weeks. The little ones really crack me up. Its all for fun!
