Dad sharing a moment with his Mom.

Me holding some flowers we got for her. We bought some from each Grandchild and their spouse ( Michael you owe Ben $5.99 +tax and Brando Ben will collect when we get to San Diego)! just kidding! :)
Of course Charlie Bear had to come say farewell too!
Flowers for the good times we had and the memories that made us laugh!!!Can't wait for the next life with her!

GRANDMA WE LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!

Heidi you said it perfect! We could go on and on with little things that she did, that at the time it didn't mean much, but now they mean the world too us! If only we could have the same red bow that she wrapped on every Christmas gift every year our whole life it would be so special. I will cherish all the good times and I'm grateful that I was able to have a Grandmother and know her in and out. I loved waking up in her bed in Santa Maria with the brightest sun shining in through her windows. The whole room would be bright orange from the sun, with the birds chirping. Her hall closet was full of purses and I would snoop through her purses for gum and candy. I must've gotten my love of purses and gum from her! Grandma also loved animals sooo much! She definately had a rebellious side. At around 7 or so she got me hooked on Dirty Dancing. My Mom didn't want me to watch it, but whenever I was at Grandma's we'd sit and watch it together. She just "loved the dancing" she'd say and Patrick Swayze! To this day it is one of my favorite movies! I'm also greatful for the time I had with her as an adult to take her shopping and go out to lunch at least weekly. She wanted so bad to drive but wasn't able too.( I think she may have stole the keys and taken the car a few times. That's so her)! She also loved her temple callings and serving a mission at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. And she always read her Book of Mormon every morning! Believe it or not she loved her popcorn and toast just a little burnt! I could go on forever but, I hope to be the best Grandma ever someday! I'll miss her dearly. This was a few years back hanging out at Kalene's house. I think we might have the same lips!
Michael and Grandma after breakfast. Heidi and Brandon were in town and they were leaving that morning so we all met for breakfast at Ihop.
This was Ben and My wedding day. Grandma insisted that I wear her pearls. They matched perfect! I also heard that she was telling all of the temple workers how much money they were worth! That's so like her also!

This was after his bath. I was trying to lotion him and he just kept rolling on his tummy so I grabbed the camera to give you all some bum shots!
A little smile!

My New Toy!

He's still too short for this so I put a pillow under his feet so he doesn't hang. He's starting to get the hang of it!

- Welcome to Alcatraz-

Oh what a tough cookie!

During an escape someone dropped a grenade and those our splaatter marks on the cement floor that it left behind.
Eating dinner on Pier 39. This was the end of our day in San Francisco. Can't wait to go back and spend more time there!

-Alcatraz-

We didn't have our sweaters on yet, but it really was windy and cold!

Inside the gift shop. Again you can tell he's oh so tired!
Mom and Bentley in front of the prison cells.

Outside Alcatraz

It really was so cool to see this piece of history! The views of the city are amazing as you can see. The workers and their families lived on the island the whole time they were employed there. I can't imagine growing up on prison grounds.

More of Outside Alcatraz

The gun tower is behind them.

Pretty views!

Pacific Blues Cafe

Grandma wanted to treat us to lunch, so of course we went out for fish-n-chips! They were so good I got soooo full!

Bentley thought Grandma was soo cool! He would not stop laughing at her the first day we were there!
