Visiting Diego

First we went last Sunday with Ben. ( see how much weight he's lost! 32 pounds)

Then we brought them dinner Thursday. Their was alot of us but I guess that's what happens when a new family member is born we all want to come visit. Sorry guys we'll have to spread out next time! Thanks for letting us come!

Happening this Week!

I have finally moved Bentley from a crib to a big boy bed, YEAH! This was Ben's nephew's bed and then they gave it to us! So yesterday I decided today's the day. Ben was at work so I called his brother and Elisa's husband took a lunch and they moved it. Thanks guys!

He went right into it perfect! Not a problem at all. It seriously was such an easy adjustment and I'm so glad we made the change. Bentley told me "My new bed, I wike it!"

The most exciting news is little Diego is finally coming tomorrow sometime! Irene you will be just fine! The unexpected is what is the scariest. I was induced and I remember pulling up and telling Ben uh can we go home? Once you get in there you just go with the flow. You'll fill out some paper work, then they take you to your room, you change, then you get all hooked up with IV's and all, then they might break your water, then comes the epidural which I don't remember hurting at all, then you wait to push! Sounds pretty simple right? I just want to reassure you that you'll be just fine girl! Can't wait to meet him!!!

Uncle Mike you are one of Bentley's favorites! You will be such an awesome Daddy! Love you!

2 1/2 Years Old!

So I've been meaning to take some pictures of Bentley for his 2 yr. pic's and I finally did it. I took him down 25th Street in Ogden and took them myself. Is was kind've fun to figure out ways to get him to look at me. I would say Bentley is their a bird on my head? He would look and I would shoot. We had fun. These are some of my favorites. Love him!

*Sweet Conversation with Bentley*

So Bentley is really starting to say alot and he's putting thing's together really well. Anyways he instigated a really cute little conversation today. I had just fixed him waffles so I like to sit and visit with him while we eat. Here's how it went......

Bentley- Daddy's at work?
Mommy- Yes Daddy's at work.
Bentley- Oh. Daddy gave me a hug!
Mommy- Yeah Daddy gave you a hug this morning.
Bentley- Yeah Daddy's nice.(When he says nice he stretches the C out. It sound's so cute.)
Mommy- Yeah Daddy's nice.
Bentley- Yeah Daddy's nice and Mike's nice. Then we went through who he thinks is nice.
We had such a sweet conversation and I really cherished it. Then a little after that he almost ruined my washer by putting a glass vase in the middle of a load and yes it broke all in pieces with a few other thing's he threw in there but all is well, all was cleaned up and our sweet little conversation out weighs the constant mischievousness. I LOVE HIM!

HaPpY BiRtHdAy BeN!

Yes he now has 31 gray hairs! Wow he was 23 when we met. Where did all the years go? He sure doesn't look 31!:)

We woke up at 6:15 thanks to a cutie named Bentley so we got ready and headed to breakfast. Then we went bowling with Steve and Elisa and the kid's. It really was alot of fun. I think the kiddo's liked the arcade better than bowling. They were cute though Bentley gave me a couple of really big woooo's and clapping when he would knock down the pins. Fun times. Happy Birthday Sweetie and I love you! Its weird thinking next year we'll have no idea where we'll celebrate his next birthday. I'll keep ya posted!

Bentley is getting driving lessons early! He really has gotten so good.

The jeep stays at Grandma and Papa's so when we go their on Sunday's its all he wants to do.

And he loves to take Charlie with him. Too funny:)

The outlaws.... Mom thought that was a cute idea! These were taken a while ago and were taken on a tripod by me! More than half the shoot I didn't even have my flash on oh well live and learn! May I add no editing has been done these are the originals so before any printing I'll have to do some cropping snd stuff!

"Ducks"

As any 2 yr old Bentley loves the ducks! We go to the bread factory and buy really cheap bread. Then of course we come to feed them. The ducks love us!

He throws one he eats one. He eats almost as much as the ducks get! Yeah the bread kind've has a stale taste to it ( yes i tasted it, I was thinking it was like really good because he kept on eating it)but no not good, soft but stale.

His other favorite part is chasing the ducks. He loves it! I just get nervous when he runs down the hill I would hate for him to fall in. Yuck..

Our hour with the ducks is great I enjoy it and Bentley does too. I need to stay up on my blogging. It just hasn't been a priority, but for everyone that doesn't get to see us everyday I know its important to them and to keep a little journal.

~Massage Envy~

I came home last night and Bentley got me a surprise! A 1 hour massage. Wow I've actually never had one. Bentley has been being such a typical 2 year old lately that his Dad thought I deserved a massage. Thanks sweetie! So much for it being Father's Day weekend!

So today at Target he had a MAJOR tantrum. I've never ever had to leave my items in the middle of an isle and storm out but today was the day. He wanted to walk very very far from me playing with a ball and throw it everywhere. He refused to sit in the cart or stay by me. So we left the store with him screaming bloody murder! Wow there is always something new! I guess he did save me a few bucks!

Bentley's Baking Lessons

So I decided to have Bentley help me make snickerdoodles. I pre- measured everything so he could just pour and he did love it. He especially liked to make the kitchen aid turn on. I had to unplug when I needed to turn it off because he would just turn it back on.

He even did the dishes when we were done, well played with the dishes. Sorry I didn't take pic's of the finished project. The dough had to chill for an hour. They turned out yummy. Nothing like homemade cookies!

Wow I didn't realize how long his hair is. I just got it trimmed. Looks like I need to take a little bit more off ( if Dad will let us)!

My little munchkin butt is now 2 yrs old! He is such a sweetheart and is so smart but as you can see tantrums are not a new thing. Love it though!
