~Bentley's 4th Birthday Party~

The three of us. Wow Bentley's almost half my size!

I made him a cupcake baseball cake. It was really easy and I loved how it turned out.

He wanted a Colorado Rockies party. We served hot dogs, chips and peanuts. I meant to have his party at the park, but the weather was awful. It was snowy and cold. The next weekend it was in the 80's! It worked out perfect at my friend Desiree's house.

This was a semi warm half hour. We let the kid's burn off some energy. They were chasing a football (not baseball) the Dad's were throwing.

He was having a blast!

We invited Bentley's class. Every time one of his friend's came he would give them a big hug. So fun for him. I'm so glad he's made such good friend's. Preschool is the best!

He cracks me up.

The pinata was a hit. The kid's just loved to whack it over and over.

Making their own party bags. Anything to make it easier!

Happy Birthday to you Bentley!

He opened lot's of great presents. He gave hugs after every present he opened. He's so sweet sometimes.

It turned out perfect except the change of location. I love giving him birthday parties. He so worth celebrating every year!

Bentley giving Uncle Tom a hug good bye.

Uncle Steve, Mom, Aunt Mary and Uncle Tom. Uncle Steve is holding Grandma's Urn.

Mom was presented with the American Flag for Grandma. It was very special.

It was a really beautiful funeral and my Uncle's told some cute stories about Grandma.

After the funeral we all went to Avila Beach to scatter some of Grandma's ashes and enjoy the ocean.

Our extended family! Loved being with everybody!

Of course I loved being with My Mom, Mike, Irene, Naomi and Diego!
We all need to come back soon!!

This is our cousin Kyle. Diego loved him!

MuD!

Today at Desiree's we had just brought the kids home from school and of course they wanted to play. We gave them a hose and let them have at it. They made mud, and then had a very good sensory lesson with the mud. Bentley loved it! He could've squished it through his fingers for hours. So we had fun with MuD today!

~St. Patrick's Day Parade~

Anna, Bentley and I.

We went downtown with Desiree and her girls and Aunt Holly and Owen to watch the annual St. Patty's Parade. It was soooo windy! If it hadn't been for the wind it would've been pretty warm. We left early and went to Mickey D's to warm up.

He cracks me Up!

So there are a few funny things Bentley has said lately. I have to write them down because I don't want to forget. First the other day I was doing the dishes and yes I speak out loud to myself often. I guess that's how I think sometimes. So anyways I was talking to myself and Bentley goes " Mom, who are you talking to?" I freeze and look at him with a smile and embarassment and say, "Myself." He starts laughing hysterically haha, "Your talking to Mommy, that's silly!" He's caught me almost everytime since then!
Then a few days ago we were at our friend's house and I was busy talking and I was tuning out him calling my name, Mom, Mom, Mom, Mom. So Ronnie started copying him, Mom, Mom, Mom, Mom, Mom. Bentley walks over with the biggest dirty look on his face. We all stop to listen to him and I'm hoping its not going to be too mean. He said, "Ronnie, that's my job!!!" We were laughing so hard. That is not what I expected him to say. The things he's been saying lately really crack me up!

Skype

Bentley loves to Skype! A few weeks ago he talked to Brock and Brody and they loved it! They wanted to see all of his toys and they just hung out. At one point Brock said "I'm going to go ask my Dad if I can come over." He came back and said, " He said I can!" Too bad we're 600 miles away Brock! It would be fun to have them come stay with us sometime. A couple weeks would be perfect!

2*15*11 Bentley's First Swim Lesson's!

Bentley started swimming lessons yesterday. He goes Tuesday's and Thursday's for 30 minute sessions. He loves it!! At first he didn't want to rinse off before he got into the pool, but some how
I talked him into it and he got right into the pool and into the lessons without hesitation. He said today, "Do I get to go swimming today?" He can't wait for tomorrow! I really want to keep him
in them year round because I think its a great life skill for him to know. Yeah for Bentley!

Making "Valentine" Cookies!

Bentley loved this! He said "Mom making cookies is my favorite. I love you!" I even let him lick the beater, that was my favorite part about making cookies when I was little! They turned out delicious as Bentley would say!

Preschool Pajama Day!

He was so excited to wear his PJ's to school. He chose his football ones. He knows exactly who "his" team is and he showed everyone! It will be funny someday if he doesn't like his Dad's team!
